The following is information for potential investors for the Delfonics Revue featuring Gary Stevens.
Gary singing a duet with singer Toni Braxton.
A brief audio sample of Gary singing "For The Love I Gave" a Delfonic's classic.
The original Delfonics were one of the first groups to sing in the sleek, soulful style that became popularized as the “Philidelphia Sound”. The group is well known for their classic songs such as “La La Means I Love You” and “Didn’t I Blow Your Mind”.In the late 90’s the Delfonics songs were played in significant musical and movies…the Quentin Tarantino’s film “Jackie Brown” featuring actress Pam Grier…”John Q” with Denzel Washington…”Crooklyn” directed by Spike Lee.
Just a few years ago, Gary Stevens joined with one of the original Delfonics, Major Harris. However, Gary is not one of the original Delfonics. This group known as Delfonics Revue featuring Gary Stevens has performed in various venues from New York to California. The current cities/states they will be performing within the next few months are Atlanta, Florida, New York, Chicago, Seattle and Washington DC.
I am very pleased and honored that Senator Obama and members of his staff are considering me to perform the National Anthem at the Inaugural Ceremonies when he is sworn in as the President of the United States. My rendition of the National Anthem is done in a falsetto voice and in a style that has never been performed before. Musical critics have suggested that my rendition is unique, touches the hearts of Americans, and promotes patriotism. I am also being considered by the Los Angeles Lakers to sing the National Anthem. In addition, I am currently in negotiation with Warner Bros and other major record companies to recording his first Birthday Song.
In an effort to administer various shows with 4 or 5 groups we have put together a proposal for investment groups to partner with. The proposal is an itemized cost to put on a mega concert. It will also include the percentage of proceed they could potentially receive.
In closing we are looking for funding into the Delfonics Revue group featuring Gary Stevens.
